Is the freezing Mont Tremblant worth a visit?

I’ve never seen snow until my flight to Canada. That pure whiteness kills me softly as it froze me in front of its beauty. Mont Tremblant is an obvious example. The snowstorm froze my face and skin, but it opened my eyes to the natural beauty of this purely white ski village.  For more information on  the diverse activities at this pedestrian village, please visit: https://www.tremblantactivities.com/

The village seems to be targeting only wealthy clientele who can pay $500 for skiing. We were unfortunately a group of poor international students, but that turned out to be an advantage for us to further explore other aspects of this village. I encountered fluffy big dogs everywhere in Place Saint Bernard as they seem to be the signature animal here.

Mont Tremblant is extremely famous for outdoor activities but they were all unaffordable to us so indoor activities seemed to be a good alternative. I visited the Escape room and the Laser Tag room. The highlight of the trip was not how I played the games but how many interesting people I met there. The Cuban manager at Laser Tag was a sailor for eight years, travelling between Vietnam and other Asian countries. The owner of these game rooms were starting everything from scratch when he founded the first and only escape room in Mont Tremblant two years ago. The story from a bank loan to a successful business gave me a dose of inspiration to become myself an entrepreneur one day.

In short, I came to Mont Tremblant not for the overpriced activities, but for the surprisingly inspiring stories from the brave entrepreneurs who left the vibrant city to start their business from scratch in this far-away village.

  2. I had a similar experience about the snow and weather but it’s fun to travel to other side of the globe to find out how people live in there. It is good to know your experience and content is informative.
“Poor international students” is the best part though.
